Antelume (“we”, “us”, “I”) respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is written in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), which is the law that governs how we handle your data.

Who we are

Antelume is the hypnotherapy and healing practice of Sandeep Kumar Sehgal, based in India. For anything to do with your data, you can reach us at sandeep@antelume.com.

Under the DPDP Act, you are the “data principal” (the person the data is about) and we are the “data fiduciary” (the one responsible for handling it carefully).

What we collect

We only collect what we genuinely need:

•When you book a call or get in touch: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to share in a message or booking form.

•When you subscribe to the newsletter: your name and email address (not your phone number), so we can send you new writing.

•When you browse the site: basic, anonymous usage stats (like how many people viewed a page), collected through our website platform’s built-in, privacy-friendly analytics. This isn’t linked to your identity, and we don’t use invasive tracking, advertising cookies, or cross-site profiling.

If you share something personal in a booking form or message (for example, a few words about what you’re going through), we treat that as confidential, and we use it only to prepare for our conversation. Anything you share with us in a call or session is likewise confidential and kept separate from this website’s data. We don’t ask for, or want, detailed health information through this website.

Why we collect it, and your consent

We process your data only for clear, stated purposes:

•To reply to you and arrange a free call or a session.

•To send you blog posts and updates, only if you subscribed.

•To understand, in a general and anonymous way, how the site is used, so we can improve it.

By getting in touch, booking, or subscribing, you consent to us using your data for these purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and we’ll stop (for example, by unsubscribing from emails, or by emailing us to ask us to stop and delete your details).

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it for, or as long as any law requires. When it’s no longer needed, or when you withdraw consent, we delete it, unless we’re required to keep it for legal reasons.

How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your data: we limit who can access it and use trusted providers who are expected to protect it too. No system is ever perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your personal data, we’ll act promptly and inform you and the Data Protection Board of India where the law requires.

Children

This site and the services offered here are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you’re a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared information with us, please email sandeep@antelume.com and we’ll delete it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the practice: our website and newsletter platform (Ghost) and our booking tool (Calendly). They only process your data so they can provide that service to us. We are not running advertising or remarketing, and we don’t track you across other websites.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can:

•Ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, and how we’re using it.

•Ask us to correct or update anything that’s wrong.

•Ask us to delete your data, or withdraw your consent for us to use it.

•Raise a grievance if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.

To do any of these, just email us and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re still not satisfied, you have the right to approach the Data Protection Board of India.
